A workshop for writers of all levels on creating a mindful writing practice.
Long Abstract
In this workshop Dr Alana Brekelmans, winner of the 2021 AAS Thesis Prize, shares her insights on creating a mindful writing practice. Drawn from teachings in meditation, psychology, writing, and anthropology, this workshop will teach you mindful and embodied ways to cut procrastination, quieten the inner critic, and get words on a page.
