Long Abstract:

This panel of journal editors in Latin American studies is intended to offer practical advice about submitting and publishing articles for new researchers in the field. The session will adopt an informal Q&A format, and the objective is to provide an overview of the main area studies journals published in the UK and Europe,and indicate (a) what editors are looking for when they read new submissions and (b) what the normal procedure of revision and resubmission is following the receipt of referees' reports. The editors will include:
