Contribution short abstract
A lighting talk on experimenting with storytelling and perspective-taking methods for more-than-human representation.
Contribution long abstract
Storytelling can be both a method and a practical tool for the researcher as an agent of transformative change. Bridging divides between objectivity and emotional subjectivity, how might this influence the field of political ecology? In this lighting talk, I will present my experience from experimenting with more-than-human storytelling and perspective-taking as methods, drawing on fieldwork experience in Kenya and South Africa, and at animal sanctuaries in Croatia and Portugal.
