Abstract:

The article discusses the issue of sexual harassment in Kazakhstani society, including its manifestations and the gaps in legislation concerning prevention and sanctioning of such acts. This research delves into the specifics and underlying reasons for sexual harassment within Kazakhstani society, aiming to provide recommendations for combating this pervasive problem in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The article is based on the results of a mass survey conducted by the Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development as part of the study "Gender Policy in Modern Kazakhstani Society". The sample size for the survey is 1,200 individuals across all regions of Kazakhstan.
