This conversation will be aimed at political scientists interested in topics of regimes and states, broadly understood. Topics covered may include authoritarianism, welfare states, energy politics, corruption, cults of personality, state-society relations, and others. We will address the challenges of conducting fieldwork on sensitive political topics, as well as during Covid-19.
