Interests: My career has led me to specialize increasingly in Humanitarian & Social Development Service with
much specialty in Project design, planning, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation of
complex multi-cultural projects at a level which meets Donor’s standard. I have ten (10) years’
experience in: Project design, Planning, Management & monitoring & evaluation of
PEPFAR/USAID/CDC funded projects using Results frameworks and Logical Framework Approach;
operating within the tight time disciplines imposed by ambitious projects which I have co monitored
and evaluated; and the application of modern leadership methods (through staff motivation and
involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, project planning, clarity in communication,
and easy personal inter-relations). My experience in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
of OVC Programs spreads across over four (4) HIV/AIDS Implementation Science projects namely,
SUSTAIN project funded by CCFN, SMILE project funded by CRS, and iCARES/aCARES project
funded by APIN. I am competent in the design and development of M&E plans as well as putting in
place an effective M&E system that promotes the quality of program data. I recently supervised a team
of workers who were committed to strengthening the M&E system under the Strategic Informatics unit
of my organization. My own Bias professional background, even as it cuts across varying discipline,
together with a command of experience in OVC projects, has also left me confident in project
management, monitoring and evaluation of projects/programs that require the reconciliation of
different stakeholder interests/approaches to otherwise solve common problems.
