Interests: I am currently studying International Development at King’s College London. My academic interests are grounded in sociological and development studies theories, with a focus on the mechanisms through which structural inequalities are produced and reproduced within developing countries and emerging economies. In particular, I am interested in how state governance, knowledge production, and development policies unevenly allocate resources, risks, and development opportunities across social groups and regions. In addition, I have a strong interest in the decolonial analysis of International Development Projects, especially in examining how power relations, discursive constructions, and depoliticised forms of governance shape project design, implementation, and their capacity to generate meaningful social transformation.
Regional Focus: China, East Asia
