Jagriti Lamba (Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi)

(no profile image)
Interests: I am interested in the intersection of the sharing economy, digital platforms, and the evolving communities of digital nomads. My research focus lies in studying the gig economy and its implications for livelihoods, labor rights, and socio-economic development, particularly in the context of digital globalization and platform capitalism. I am keen to explore how these trends reshape traditional development paradigms and create new challenges and opportunities in both the Global North and South.
Regional Focus: My primary geographical focus includes Southeast Asia—regions where digital platforms and gig economy models are rapidly expanding and shaping new forms of work. I am also interested in global trends, including urban hubs in Europe and North America, to understand transnational patterns in the sharing economy and digital nomadism.
