Interests: My research broadly examines Brazilian agribusiness, environmental governance, and science and technology production. Using Environmental Sociology and Science and Technology Studies, I investigate new governance modes in the soy sector and how corporate commitments address deforestation, climate change, and human rights. This research critically analyzes how corporations use environmental metrics, standards, and climate targets to enact "sustainability" and "accountability" in their strategies.
