Interests: Esther Thontteh (Ph.D.) is a land management and administration research fellow at the University of Lagos, Nigeria and an Estate Surveyor and Valuer. She is passionate about real estate valuation, property performance, housing, land management and administration. She is currently the cluster manager for land management and administration research cluster under the auspices of UKRI-ARUA in University of Lagos Centre for Housing and Sustainable Urban Development. Her recent research experience includes Land rights and conflicts, Land inequality, Land pooling and innovative compensation framework, Migration Studies, Land Conflicts, Housing Affordability and Social Wellbeing, Gender Housing and land rights. Thematic studies on transit-oriented development and urban infrastructure; Neighbourhood Level Research; Rich understanding of the application of global definition of cities / urban areas in support of global monitoring of SDGs and New Urban Agenda (NUA) and Urban Targets.
