I will comment on the book "The Political Economy of Non-Western Migration Regimes: Central Asian Migrant Workers in Russia and Turkey". I intend to discuss the plans and strategies of migrants, transnational mobility, the relationship between the economy of migration and the economy of the countries of Central Asia, as well as the policies of Russia and Turkey towards migrants. I am going to discuss the theoretical and methodological aspects of the study of Central Asian migration
