Abstract:
In this panel session, the speakers will identify the peculiarities of agricultural development in Kyrgyzstan under conditions of transforming globalisation. The main features of the land-saving type of development of the industry, affecting low labour productivity and competitiveness of the industry, are identified. The tendencies of development of export-oriented production, food import substitution and food security have been identified. The current system and structure of small peasant agrarian production, its advantages and problems of consolidation have been assessed. Among other things, the main threats and challenges to the development of the country's agrarian sector are substantiated and the main aspects of further transformation of the agricultural sector are considered, including agricultural policy and support, introduction of innovative technologies and ensuring sustainable development of agriculture in the context of globalisation.
It will also be substantiated that the pairing of Kyrgyzstan's economy with the Chinese initiative ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative does not contradict its functioning in the Eurasian economic integration. The predominance of EAEU countries and the PRC in the country's foreign trade turnover, as well as positive dynamics in the inflow of foreign investment was revealed. It also found that the PRC is strengthening its position in trade and economic cooperation with the countries of the Central Asian region. At the same time, the importance of pairing the economies of the Central Asian countries with the Chinese initiative for the effective use of the country's export potential and deepening of intra-regional integration ties in the context of globalisation is emphasised.
At the same time, the speakers will also substantiate the possibilities of using the mechanism of public-private partnership in the system of preschool education, as the problems of accessibility and quality of preschool education emerge under the budget deficit. It can be stated that the domestic system of state and municipal educational organisations cannot cope with the ever-growing needs of parents in the field of preschool education.
In addition, the reports will present modelling and forecasting of labour market development in the Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account the migration outflow in the context of globalisation.
